Stand Up For Canada

The convoy protests in Ottawa and Alberta's border with the US need to stop.

Police forces need to ticket and arrest anyone breaking the law, just like they do to Indigenous and Black protestors. Failing to treat these convoy protestors with the same measures is racist.

COVID is real. It would be great to wish it away or pretend that dropping vaccine mandates will suddenly make our lives more free. But we can't. If we drop vaccine mandates, we would be welcoming COVID to continue to spread, and spread faster. Which would infect more people, cause more death, cause much more disability, and wreck our economy even more. It's like if our house was on fire and only the kitchen is still burning. The firefighters don't say, "Bro, we're done!" Thankfully, they stay and put out the fire, and make sure everyone is safe. COVID continues to spread like fire. We can't just decide to "move on".

Vaccines work. The COVID vaccines are AMAZING at preventing serious illness and death.

But they don't work against racism. To stamp this racism out, everyone needs to call out racism they see. To contact their Members of Parliament and Legislative Assemblies, Provincial Parliament, Houses of Assembly, etc. and demand that all Canadians be protected by dismantling these racist protests.
